Through Community Effort Mapleton Gets First Sign
The unveiling of Mapleton’s first village sign, in its 144 year history, will be held at 3:30 p.m.on Tuesday, December 4th. Attending will be:
Mayor Ken Oedewaldt
Sherri Boswell, Logo and Slogan Contest Winner
Mike Choudhari, Mapleton Mini Mart owner who provided location space
Carl Bishop, who provided design and construction of mounting base
Melanie Krause, Lonza representative whose company donated funds for the purchase
Shannon Love, representative of Kirby Built sign manufacturer New Berlin, Wisconsin is unable to be in attendance.
We invite village residents and friends to join us for the unveiling at W Wheeler Rd and S Walnut St just off of Rt 24.
