The Illinois Wind Working Group presents this conference, featuring panels of speakers to present on wind energy related topics including Best Practices of County Boards and Zoning Boards, County Ordinance Key Provisions & Tax Issues, Decommissioning, New Technology Impact on Health & Safety Issues, and Center for Renewable Energy Research. A Wind Energy 101 Pre-Session will also be provided.
The Illinois Wind Working Group is affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Wind Powering America State Wind Working Groups, and is administered by Illinois State University’s Center for Renewable Energy.
