Vicki Berchtold is starting up her winter art classes in Pekin at her home Creative Arts Studio 101. I usually teach 6 or 7 classes a week. Both the painting and drawing classes meet once a week for 6 weeks and last for 1 1/2 hours. Classes are limited in size to 6 students. The studio is a non smoking and Christian environment.
The next session of drawing and painting classes will be starting the week of January 14th. Classes are offered to children age 7 and up, including adults. I have several sets of siblings, also a mother /daughter and a grandmother and two grandchildren taking classes.
Classes cost $60.00 for the entire session of 6 classes. If you pay for all the classes on the first night, you get a discount - only $55.00. The cost includes supplies. My goal for the classes is for students to learn and have fun in a positive non-threatening enviornment. The ususally schedule is:
Monday
4:00-5:30 Drawing Class
Tuesday
10:30-12 Open studio - painting
4 -5:30 Drawing
6 - 7:30 Painting
Thursday
10:30 - 12 Painting class
4 - 5:30 Painting
6 - 7:30 Painting
