“Having been raised by depression-era parents, I have always had an innate sense of "making do" with what I already own. I became creative in my re-purposing of items, and have always been an avid recycler. It was only natural that I should open a store called "re-" to do my part in helping to sustain our planet.
“At re- you will find all kinds of wonderful items made from re-claimed or re-cycled materials, natural and sustainable products, as well as ideas on how to live a "greener" lifestyle. I am always looking for the next unique items and the clever artists creating them as well as sticking with the favorites. So re-duce, re-use, re-cycle, re-claim, re-purpose, re-think, re-everything!”
We sell only new items – nothing is “used,” though all our merchandise is reused, recycled or re-purposed. We order our merchandise from many distributors, many locations, and also sell some items on consignment. We only deal with “fair trade” environments, and will not support “sweat shops”. We are also fond of companies that give part of their profits to charitable organizations.
